Azarya De La Cruz

Counseling Intern

I provide individual counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults in Texas. As a former Elementary School Teacher, I have experience helping children navigate anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities, grief, and relationship conflicts. I am being trained to work with the following: life transitions, sexual trauma, religious trauma, family conflict, grief, self-esteem, stress, depression, and anxiety. I am bilingual and can offer services in Spanish.

My therapeutic approach incorporates Existential theory with Person Centered and Cognitive-Behavioral techniques (CBT). I focus to the unique needs of each client and believe that every individual has a great purpose and possesses the strength and potential to work through life problems. I seek to honestly help my clients discover this potential and learn skills and strategies that will help them achieve their goals through empowering my clients and providing them with conditions for personal growth.
